When ever you are purchasing a home or any other type of real property it is in your best interest to use an experienced Real Estate Agent.  Whether you are a first time buyer or an experienced investor you will greatly benefit from using an ethical Real Estate Agent.  I will make sure your home buying needs are met.  Here are a few steps you will be going through,

1.  Meet with a reputable lender and get pre-approved.  I can refer you to some lenders if you do not already know a lender that you are comfortable with.  This is when you will find out exactly how much you can afford to spend on a property.

2.  We will discuss your needs and wants in a home.  Location, schools etc.  Once I know what you are looking for and what price range I will do a detailed search of properties for you to review.  We will then narrow them down to the ones you actually want to see.  I will set up all the showing appointments and take you to look at them!

3.  Once you have selected a property that is right for you we will complete a Purchase Contract.  This is where we write all the terms and conditions of your offer.  I will go further into this when we meet, prior to looking at property.  Once the contract and pre-approval letter from the lender gets accepted by the Seller we will then open Escrow.

4.  Escrow is a neutral third party that we submit all contracts, monies, reports etc. to.  Escrow process normally averages 30 - 45 days.  During this time you will be securing a mortgage loan if required, home inspection will be done, you will be reviewing disclosure statements, condo/association dos. (if pertain to property), termite report, title report and any other documents and inspections that may apply.  Once everything is complete...

5.  You are now a homeowner!    You will receive your keys on the day the property has recorded.  (normally the closing date)
